Valerie Lange is a North Dakota native and lives in Bismarck. She and her husband, Jeff, are parents of three (nearly adult) children, two of whom are in college and one who is in high school. She enjoys family activities, participation in her local evangelical church and presenting at workshops/seminars.
Valerie has a Master's degree in counseling from North Dakota State University and a Bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Mary, Bismarck. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with the state of North Dakota. Valerie has worked as a counselor in a number of settings since 1983 and as a mental health nurse prior to that time. She provides therapy for depression, grief, anxiety, codependency, interpersonal conflicts as well as recovery from issues relating to having experienced physical, emotional or sexual abuse. Valerie enjoys working with individuals (ages 12+), couples and families. Valerie has experience helping clients with a number of specific needs such as resolving difficult marital struggles, overcoming anger issues, eating disorders or sexual addictions. Her goal is to bring a Christian worldview and the love of Christ to hurting persons, offering guidance that is consistent with scriptural principles.
