Diana Gefroh has a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Northern State University of S.D and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Addictions Studies and Criminal Justice from Minot State University of ND. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with the state of North Dakota.
Diana specializes in working with children and families concerning behavioral issues connected with trauma, learning disabilities (ADHD) and conflict management. She also provides group, couples and individual counseling. She has worked with clients relating to; victims of emotional and sexual abuse, adult children of alcoholics, grief, depression, anxiety, adult attention deficient disorder, impulse disorders and addiction management along with a variety of adjustment disorders. She is a TF-CBT provider and an EMDR therapy provider.
She is a member of the North Dakota Counseling Association and the North Dakota Mental Health Counseling Association. She provides psycho-educational presentations to local educators on the topic of learning disabilities and to children, both grade and secondary ages, on the subject of good mental health strategies.
Diana is a native of North Dakota. She grew up in a small farming community the youngest of four children and has two grown daughters. She has over twenty years experience working in early childhood education both as owner of a group childcare facility and director of a large child care center. While working and in completion of her Masters degree she interned with a faith-based drug and alcohol recovery center for two years prior to joining Anchor Christian Counseling in 2008.
