Candace Rivinius is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of North Dakota. She has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Addiction Counseling, also from the University of Mary.
Candace gained experience with a variety of populations through her internship and work since graduating in spring 2015. She has worked with individuals in trauma recovery and with youth who have mental and physical disabilities. Candace provides counseling in many areas including grief, depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, anger management, overcoming trauma, as well as struggles relating to selfesteem, communication, abuse, and adjustment disorders to name a few. She also provides family and group therapy.
Candace is a member of the North Dakota Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association. She is trained on the ASIS Suicide prevention model.
Candace was born and raised in Bismarck ND. Although Candace has only one younger sibling, she has a large extended family with whom she spends time often. Faith and family and friends are very important to her.
