Our counselors offer a combined experience of over 40 years of counseling with a wide variety of clientele. They have worked in private practice, at Teen Challenge (a Christian addiction recovery program), the North Dakota State Penitentiary, and the North Dakota State Hospital.
We are committed to providing counseling that is truly professional, integrating a Biblical perspective as well. You'll find each counselor to be compassionate, caring, and deeply committed to helping people find life at its best. We see life as a great adventure where the difficulties, stresses, and troubles of life are simply gateways to understanding more of self and identifying issues of concern. It is our hope to use these very issues to bring our clients into a life that is richer and fuller.
We are again open to in-person counseling.
In light of covid-19, we wanted to let you know we've changed things. We recognize that some folks are more susceptible to covid-19 and we want to continue to connect with you. And we recognize that some folks would just prefer to continue to meet for counseling online and we want to meet with you, too. We are choosing to use an online telemed option called doxy.me. This is a HIPAA compliant program, meaning that your confidentiality is secured. If you have an appointment with one of us, you'll receive either by text or email, a link to click on. Prior to your appointment, consider where you can meet that will be quiet and allow you to feel safe to say what you would like to say. A few minutes before your appointment time, simply click the link, type in your name, and you'll pop right into our "waiting room." Only your counselor sees you've arrived. Then just wait, and your counselor will bring you into your personal counseling session. You'll be able to see and hear your counselor, just as they can see and hear you. We encourage you to try the practice mode prior to any schedule appointments. This lets you experiment to make sure your technology is up and running. We believe that God created us for connection. We also understand that sometimes life throws us a curveball. We want you to know we were intentional about finding a way to continue to connect to you. More importantly, we remember you in our prayers.
